SB 362 Real Time Continuous Digital Common Core Assessment

First the legislature voted to eliminate the high school graduation test that covered reading, math, science, social studies and writing and replace it with a common core aligned test in every subject at every grade level (HB 91, 2015).

Now common core testing is expanding with this "optional" formative alternative assessment.

This means that school districts can continuously assess common core throughout the year on computers, real time, instead of just one test at the end of the year.  Who would want that?  Not any parent I have talked to.  Not any teacher I have talked to.

Did your legislator vote to allow an increase in the frequency of common core assessment?
